POSTER COMPETITION / EXHIBITION (Germany)
'
your colors can brighten the land of the rising sun, again!'
The triple disasters in Japan have shocked us all and have made us ask the question, what you can do in the face of a pair of disasters that exceed the power of the imagination? Project Sunshine for Japan has called upon designers from around the world to express their compassion and concern in the form of posters of artistic expression. The result of this competition will be shown in an exhibition to confirm solidarity, empathy and cultural exchange.
A jury of renowned international designers has selected the 100 best posters from the 600 submitted. These will be presented in the exhibition. Visitors can bid on the posters and thus contribute to the reconstruction in Japan. All proceeds of the poster exhibition will be forwarded to the Japanese Red Cross.
The physical exhibition runs from December 2nd to December 16th, 9 am - 1 pm Monday-Friday in the Japanese House, Düsseldorf, Germany.
We welcome you all and would highly appreciate any form of cooperation to make these exhibitions a success.
